Uma in Bronze is a GI-certified Karnataka bronze work. The elaborate bust sculpture depicts the gentle form of the Mother Goddess, which is popularly known as Uma. She is the manifestation of Shakti, the divine feminine energy, and she represents power, energy, harmony, love, beauty, devotion, and motherhood. It is said that she brings good fortune and luck to newlyweds and strengthens the bond of married happiness. This piece is handmade through the traditional lost wax method, which is known as cire perdue. The sculpture comes in a vintage patina finish with a complimentary wooden pedestal.

Brass and Bronze have a natural tendency to patinate as it ages. The patina gives the art object a distinct character. The patina can be removed, to some extent, by gently cleaning the object with a solution of tamarind water and a pinch of salt. This usually removes the patina.
