Aravali was born when two people bonded over their love for Indian art in its truest form. Vijender Sharma and Kaushik Bose are the driving force behind this initiative.

Vijender Sharma is a business consultant and a history enthusiast. His curiosity about history brought him closer to traditional Indian art. Kaushik Bose is a communications expert and a theatre director. Given his creative inclination, he has a flair for appreciating art in the most natural and effortless way.

Aravali collaborated with Sharmila Mitra, a professional designer with decades of expertise in fine art, to help curate a unique line of products for the brand. Their mutual love and curiosity for art made them realise that Indian handicrafts have much more to offer than what is currently on the market. Their quest for authentic art and true craftsmanship thus continues.
