This hand-painted Kangra miniature painting collection is from the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The Government of India has GI-certified them as cultural heritage. The Kangra School of Painting came into existence in the middle of the 18th century. Kangra paintings are made with vegetable extracts and natural substances. The Kangra art form is a serene celebration of life and its simplicity. These paintings require years of dedication and hard work from the artists. There is a decline in the practise of creating these paintings today. As part of Aravali's mission to revive this dying art form, we are presenting you with a collection of these paintings that display subtlety and delicate techniques. These paintings deserve to be seen. The painting is made on paper and comes with a beautiful double mount complimentary frame with a natural wood finish
