Dancing Ganesha

Proposed to receive GI certification by the Government of India, the Dancing Ganesha is a piece of elegant home décor made by renowned artists in Tamil Nadu. Handcrafted by these artisans according to the rules and measurements defined in the Shilpa Shastra, each piece takes 4-6 weeks to complete. The sculpture is made of wood and depicts Lord Ganesha in a dancing position. There is intricate detailing throughout the body of Lord Ganesha and his accessories and jewellery. This wood carving is a natural process that uses no chemicals. The seasoning of wood is achieved naturally by exposing it to various climate conditions.
