The Bronze Kaliadaman is a masterpiece from Karnataka, made through the traditional lost wax method. This art form is GI-certified by the Government of India. In the south of India, bronze is believed to exude the energy of the divine, which is why idols are made from it. The bronze pieces are handcrafted and take 3–4 weeks to complete.
This stunningly detailed piece depicts Lord Krishna dancing on the head of serpent king Kaliya in order to defeat him. The five-headed snake Kaliya poisoned the Yamuna River, killing animals and plants in it. When Sri Krishna saw the terrible situation, he dove into the toxic waters, and a battle ensued. Krishna defeated the powerful Kaliya and emerged from the river dancing atop Kaliya's middle head. This gorgeous sculpture comes in a vintage patina finish with a complimentary wooden pedestal.

Brass and Bronze have a natural tendency to patinate as it ages. The patina gives the art object a distinct character. The patina can be removed, to some extent, by gently cleaning the object with a solution of tamarind water and a pinch of salt. This usually removes the patina.
