Celebrate one of the most captivating episodes from the life of Lord Krishna with Bronze Kaliadaman, an authentic GI-certified handcrafted bronze sculpture created by master artisans from Karnataka. Meticulously handcrafted using the ancient lost wax casting technique, this magnificent sculpture portrays Sri Krishna dancing triumphantly on the hoods of the serpent king Kaliya, symbolising the victory of courage, righteousness, and divine grace over arrogance and evil. Finished in a rich vintage patina and presented on a complimentary wooden pedestal, it is a timeless masterpiece of devotion and South Indian bronze artistry.
The story of Kaliyadaman occupies a cherished place in the Bhagavata Purana. The poisonous serpent Kaliya had made his home in the waters of the Yamuna River, poisoning its waters and threatening all life around it. To protect the people of Vrindavan, young Krishna fearlessly entered the river and confronted the mighty serpent. After an intense battle, Krishna emerged victorious, dancing gracefully upon Kaliya's many hoods. Humbled by the Lord's compassion, Kaliya surrendered and departed peacefully, restoring purity to the river. This divine episode symbolises the triumph of truth over fear, the cleansing of negativity, and the power of compassion to transform even the fiercest adversary.
The bronze sculptures of Karnataka are renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and are recognised with Geographical Indication (GI) status. Each sculpture is individually created using the traditional lost wax casting process, a technique that has been practised in South India for centuries. The artisan first sculpts the figure entirely in wax before encasing it in layers of fine clay. During firing, the wax melts away and molten bronze fills the cavity. Since the mould is broken after casting, every sculpture is completely unique, preserving the individuality and artistic expression of the craftsman. Bronze icons are traditionally believed to radiate divine energy, making them ideal for both worship and artistic appreciation.
Every intricate detail—from Krishna's graceful posture to the beautifully sculpted serpent hoods—is finished entirely by hand, reflecting generations of inherited expertise. The elegant vintage patina enhances the sculpture's depth and character, while the bronze naturally develops an even richer finish over time, making it an heirloom-quality work of art.
Whether displayed in a home temple, living room, office, meditation space, or curated art collection, Bronze Kaliadaman inspires faith, courage, and serenity. It also makes an exceptional gift for Janmashtami, housewarmings, weddings, anniversaries, festive celebrations, executive gifting, and premium corporate gifting.

Brass and Bronze have a natural tendency to patinate as it ages. The patina gives the art object a distinct character. The patina can be removed, to some extent, by gently cleaning the object with a solution of tamarind water and a pinch of salt. This usually removes the patina.
